The Pueblo of Sandia restricts picture taking of traditional dances, the church and the plaza area. Other areas of the Pueblo can be photographed if cleared by the Governor's Office.
Then I found this good news:
We invite you to come visit the Buffalo preserve and see for yourself these majestic animals. Feel free to bring your camera; this is one area on the reservation where picture taking is allowed.
Looks like a good sunset photo spot, if they let you stay there that late. I've always wished I could go up Tramway a bit and get some good photos of the sun going down. The "ground clutter" here in the valley is undesirable. Just south of the reservation is in the city limits and is wall to wall houses now.
