For sale is a beautiful Rolleiflex 3.5F, serial number 28233**, making it a Type 4 from the mid-late 1960s. This one has the 6-element Zeiss Planar lens and is also fitted with a Rick Oleson bright screen with the large microprism focusing spot. The original Rollei screen, which has a split image spot surrounded by a matte surface, will also be included. Note that I can provide a very nice Maxwell screen instead of the Oleson screen if desired.

This camera is in superb cosmetic condition with only a few tiny finish marks that don’t really show in the photos. There are no dents or dings, and the camera has clearly seen light and very careful use over its life. Both the taking and viewing lenses are clean, clear, and free of any blemish such as cleaning marks, haze or fungus.

Functionally the camera is perfect except for the light meter, which responds to light but is not accurate over parts of its range. The camera got a CLA in early 2019 from Bill Moretz at ProCamera, so all other functions are good. All shutter speeds are within specs, and both the self timer and slow shutter speeds run strong with no hesitation or hanging. Focus and transport mechanisms are both smooth as silk, and the depth of field linkage to the aperture setting operates properly. The receipt for the CLA will be provided.

Included with the camera are the hinged lens cap and the leather case, which is in very nice condition. I will also include an original Rollei strap with the scissors clips. The latter is in fair condition, but you could have the clips put on a new strap if desired.

I will sell this package for $1050 shipped in the CONUSA. I will ship abroad, but you will have to cover the cost of trackable shipping. I will cover the PayPal fees. The Rolleiflex is SOLD.

If you prefer to have a Maxwell screen (split image spot surrounded by a microprism ring with very bright Fresnel screen), I will swap out the Oleson screen for the Maxwell for an additional $145, or $1195 shipped.

The following accessories are still available, prices are shipped in the CONUSA:

Rolleipol polarizing filter, excellent condition with case. $75

Rolleinar 1 close up set, excellent condition with case. $75 SOLD

What a magnificent camera! I used a slightly earlier 3.5f with the 5-element Planar for 20 years. Mine also had the dual ft and m focus scale. Fine-grain film like Panatomic-X is superb with this lens. Good luck with the sale.
