I've just placed an order with Rayco Dead Link Removed - a great UK supplier of raw photographic chemicals - and they are up for sale  Apperently while they aren't making a loss the parent company feels they're not making enough money.

They have a parent company? I'd always pictured Rayco as operating from a shed - OK maybe two sheds - on an allotment, and I didn't think that it was legal to make a profit in Barnsley. Profit being only unpaid wages, and all that.

Best,
Helen
Oops, there goes my Green Card application.

That is seriously bad news - a lot of stuff there you can't get elsewhere (or at least I can't find 'em)...

I got the impression that they operated above a chemist's shop - the shop being the main business?

This is getting depressingly familiar...
