Can anyone suggest a Photography Supply house that sells film/chemistry etc in the college town of Mankato? ......that might be open on Sunday's?

I'll be sepending about a week to 10 days about 40 miles from Mankato and there is ALWAYS something I forget to bring.

TIA

I know there's a Ritz camera store in Mankato. They'd probably carry a limited supply of pro film, but no chemicals. Where will you be staying? If there's something you've forgotten that you *must* have, I'd plan a trip to the southern metro (Burnsville) to a National Camera Exchange store. They usually have chemicals, along with almost all of the film you could need. Depending on where you'll be staying, it may only be an hour drive. (Dead Link Removed).

Hope that helps,

Kimberly

Thanks Kimberly,
We will be staying in the town of St. James near the Iowa/S.Dakota borders. Ritz will have to do and it is usually film I run out of. The Nat'l Camera Exchange looks like it could supply a lot of materials but they seem to be clustered in and around the twin cities, a long drive away.

I thought Mankato being a college town would have a professional leaning photography store.

Thanks for the info, I will keep it for a 'dire emergency'.

Bruce,

I found another resource for you, but I know nothing of the store or its reputation:

Artcraft Camera Shop
1029 S Front Street
Mankato, MN 56001
(507) 345-4288

They carry photo equipment (new and used) and list themselves as a photofinisher (retail), so I'd bet they carry a variety of film. I'd also bet that they have more to offer than Ritz.

Good luck!
