Pulling Tri-X 120 film.

I just rebuilt 2 Balda folders,a Baldalux & a Baldix. Thanks to fellow APUGer and all-round good guy Mark H. I now have 2 rolls of Tri-X to play with. Being winter and a tad bright I thought that pulling the film would be my best bet.
How does iso 200 dev. in HC-110 (dil:H) for 11 mins.30 sec. at 20c sound?

This will be my first attempt at MF since the rebuild. Any and all suggestions greatly appreciated.

I've had some success pulling Tri-X for certain similar situations and your formula sounds similar to what I did. My timing was shorter though... around 10 minutes. Get ready for some fairly flat negs however. You'll have to push the contrast some when printing.

I use an EI of 200 as the normal, in hc110 b at 6 minutes.

Which Tri X, and what do you want the curve to look like ?

( i'm printing today, so I can watch olympic hockey all day ... in the darkroom ! )

wonder how many Apuggers check things out while the print's in the microwave !

Interesting , did you fit a red filter over your screen? I've heard of this before...wondered if people actually tried it.

Assuming this is 400TX, I'd probably give it 14 minutes in Dilution G, agitating continuously first minute, then 5 inversions every 3rd minute, or leave the time at my usual 21 minutes and, after that first minute, agitate at 8 and 15. Either should give what I'd consider minus-one development (and won't hurt your acutance any).

OT; I had a Macintosh SE in the darkroom with rubylith tape over the screen and the brightness way down.. It worked well, kept it in the corner away from the trays..
Too bad the power supply started to konk out on me. I loved that computer.
