Print Exhibition?

Would really love to see other peoples work. Will there be an open print exhibtion area for this? Also am I correct in assuming someone who registers for a workshop must also purchase a 'general admission' pass to gain access to the 'free' stuff? Thanks!

Terrific idea. I've already paid my 50 bucks for a one-day pass to the "free" activities but I'd really like to see them expanded to include an open print showing.

A weekend pass will get you axcess to all the vendors , print show, gala opening , and Sat Sizzle.This pass is mandatory for those taking workshops /Gala Opening over two days of the conference
A day pass gets you into the workshops for the day you purchased.
Those wanting to only come to the Sat Sizzle , can pay $5.00 and get into tent city and also the print show areas..
This $5.00 will not get you axcess to any of the workshop areas in the building.

We are having a Master Class Print Exhibition * instructors and invited artists* We also will be viewing the 60 submissions to Silver Competition where there were three winning prints from Canada.
As well we have The APUG Print submissions on view as well.

All in all we will have over 100 photographic prints on view as part of the Contact Festival

John Callow will be posting a better update shortly explaining in detail on the conference site all of the above and some of the new vendors for the Sat Sizzle.

Sounds wonderful! Will the print exhibition be up by saturday?

The print exhibit will be up just in time for the opening APUG Workshop attendees and instructors pre show meeting at 5pm , Thurs May 4th. We will have a local gov't dignitary open the show and Mr Callow will introduce Sean who will say a few words, *that is if we can get his head through the double doors of the gallery space* as well all the instructors will be introduced by Mr Callow. At 6pm we will open the doors to rsvp guests and the general public who will be paying at the door to attend thurs evenings show.
