I have 1g of potassium chloroplatinite K2PtCl4. To make 20% solution used for toning Kallitypes, do I just mix it with 5 ml of H2O, or is there some special technique to do it?

For Kallitype you may add some Citric acid.
I'll suggest you to make the tone this way
1gm of 1g of potassium chloroplatinite K2PtCl4
8gm citric acid
1500ml of water.
