Went to J and C to find out something about "Postcard Paper". Alas, not much information available. It has been mentioned several times, and I would like to know more about it. First off I guess is what is it? A graded paper, or variable contrast, RC or fibre based. I know it's size, and the surface finish I like, but little else. Any one care to bring me up to speed on it's characteristics? Enlarging or contact? What kind of tone?

Thanks a lot,
Charlie........................

It's Ilford Portfolio RC, variable contrast, printed on the back like a post card.

Hey Charlie...you got the question answered....where it was ask is not carved into stone. You could always ask one of the moderators to move it, or not. Lord knows, if this place gets to be like work, and know one can make a mistake it will not be worth coming here.

yes, we've had our small dose of fun... move along... move along...

Although, someone is likely to point us to a colour postcard stock...

I could easily move this, but then we'd have all those strange remarks about colour in the BW subforum...
