Plate Burner for Alternative Printing

Hi All

I have an opportunity to acquire a working plate burner.

NuArk Flip Top with vacumn
30 x40 inch size
with Metal Halide
and Mercury Vapor Lighting.

I already have a NuArk 26 1Ks for 20 x24 ,

Will this larger unit be ok for platinum, cyanotype , alternative printing methods?
This unit will be on my shipping dock for only one or two days so your help is appreciated.

It will work but you need to make sure Nu Arc will still be making parts and bulbs for it. Some of these units are pretty old and dont have parts being made for them anymore. You also need to check the vacuum pump and make sure it is drwing good vacuum and the hoses are all in good shape. Changing the hoses for the flip top units is a lot harder than for the 26 units....

This unit looks in very good shape, as long as it will work for platinum I am going to pick it up.
