Hi All,

Thanks for your patience while we continue to work through a huge post migration todo list and bug fix list. This has been a complete rebuild of the website from software version 1.5.x to 2.2.8 a very long journey, and it's still somewhat early in the overall process. The main goal right now is to return to normal functionality as soon as possible (we're getting closer), then we will begin to add and activate many improvements thanks to the capabilities of the updated software. Special thanks to my freelance coder Clément for his amazing skills in porting a ton of code and helping with the rollout. Also, I can't thank our mod team enough for keeping watch these past months while I've been busy tending to the upgrade work. With the major work completed we are entering into the cleanup, bug fix, continuing to port some areas (social groups), adding new features and more.

You may have to re-learn a few aspects of the site. We'll post a thread with some tips covering some of the major changes. If you have trouble figuring anything out just let us know.

We are eager to get some bug reports and feedback, so do not panic if something is missing, out of place or unintuitive, we can fix it.

I'll try to be accessible in our photrio chatroom, you can access it on the main menu bar.

This upgrade took countless hours, a lot of coding costs and software purchases. If you would like to make a donation to help with some of these costs it would be a great help. I have unified the classifieds into one view and using tags. You can filter by tag if you like. In the filter by category list, click the tag to activate:

To de-activate a tag, close the tag selection underneath by "x"ing it out. In the below example you can see "For Sale" is selected.

The classifieds is still a work in progress.

Also note, the first image you attach for your ad, will now be the thumbnail in the ads list, for example:

a couple of small usability comments:

1- in the threads with unread posts the title was bold, compared to fully read threads. Now, if that still the case, my eyes can see the difference.

if you click the expanded menu do you see them?

we can add a great many functions to the text editor

I can fix the my posts issue thanks for the catch. The avatar is just part of that info bar.

The structural elements of the new version differ, I did what I could to maintain some influence of the previous styling. I've been on it for months so am quite used to it now.

The New Posts function is showing threads bolded where the last post was made on Wednesday.
I had read everything and marked posts as such right up to just before the shut down.

there isn't much colour on the site, what do you mean specifically? There might be some workarounds for you.
