Hey, i've been using my bronica and my canon for lots of pinhole stuff lately, by just putting the photo paper where the film would go. I've had troubles exposing for it correctly, but i was wondering how do you find the light sensitivity of photo paper, so i don't have to guess so much when exposing it?

I have illford multigrade IV paper. Does anybody know the ISO equivilant of this paper?

Thanks a lot

phototyler -

rate the paper around iso 6 or so and you should have a good starting point.
if you have a blue filter you can get a better idea of the blue light reading by putting it over you light meter.

6 is a good starting point. I beleive that is what I used when playing with paper negs. May be more difficult to do with pinhole, but if you are using VC paper for the negative, using a 0 or 00 contrast filter can help tame the negatives a lot.

THANKS A TON! you guys are always so helpful! I just took one metering at iso 6 and it turned out way better then my others, with a better range of tones. They are drying now, but after that i'll scan and post in the standard gallery.

Thanks again.
