You can, I've adapted one to mine, other folks have too. I'd say it works best with a Petzval that has a focusing mount. You lose shutter speed flexibility, since you're dependant on the rear shutter and your "press button/release button" tiiming accuracy. Though you could mount one to a Microscope shutter, if you can find one, or buy one of the glass-less Hasselblad lenses on ebay.
It may be hard to achieve the swirls everyone likes working when with 6x6, my Petzval is around 180 mm FL, and on the Hasselblad, the sharp center region fills most of the frame.
