Permajet OHP vs Copyjet

Hi all

These seem to be the only OHP products available in the UK. I use Permajet with success, but just wondered if anyone has compared the two side by side. Copyjet is the cheaper one, but you have to buy it in a box of 100, so any insight from anyone would be very much appreciated.

I have just changed from permajet to copyjet for my platinum printing digi negs as the permajet when used with my epson 3800 the ink pools, the copyjet i can have on Premium glossy 2800 dpi and there is no pooling.

This is good news as I have taken delivery of an epson 3800 and have had pictorico sent over from the USA, Rationale for this was I'd be able to get advice just to get me started should I need it and then move on to working out if it is cheaper/better to order pictorico from the USA or get agfa here. I asked a similar question a while ago and there was a lot of positive feedback re agfa.

Have to say, using an r800 I have never had a pooling issue. I wonder if Copyjet, being more thirsty, may be an issue. Good news for you though, Carl.

If either of you want to lose 5 sheets of your respective media for a nice little 5x4 pd print (mounted, of course , I would be very happy to trade. Let me know if you do.
