Oh Well it had to come sometime -- I have 'taken over'my Boy's OM2n that he was given some years ago by a Widow Lady who also gave us TWO XA2's in presentation boxes ! I have added a 300mm f5.6 Tamron Adaptall lens as I had a spare Olympus Adapter so took off the Pentax M42 Screw and fitted the OM one -- kit now has a winder and a 28mm f3.5 Zuiko that I got from an OM10 that was donated by a lady who brought up a box full to my Club one evening and I gave the OM 10 to another member and gave away the tripod as well but kept winder the 28mm lens !
I have tested it all -- the standard 50mm f1.4 G. Zuiko is really 'useable' at full aperture but not sure about the 28mm. The 75-150mm f 4 Zuiko Zoom is OK at full aperture. I have another fillum loaded in it to test the 300mm lens at the moment but will upload some snaps I took on first tests to show you .

Oh YES -- I forgot -- I have also 'Taken Over' the 'Digital ' Olympus MJU 760 that I won years ago and gave to my Daughter -- now she never uses it as she takes photos on her 'gadgets' and uploads them to 'Snapchat, 'Facebook ' and 'Instagram' and I have taken some on that as well but will not show results on THIS SITE !!

One of the XA2 kits we were given -- I've not used it yet but my Boy used HIS one ---

Uh-oh, lookout! Here comes Pete.

LOL. Welcome to the group Pete! You are on a slippery slope now.
Though if you already have a large Pentax collection, you may be less inclined to fill out an Olympus kit.

If you are not too happy with the 50mm f1.4, try the 50mm f1.8. It seems better edge to edge than the f1.4.

Another lens that I would reccomend is the 100mm f2.8.

Not sure about the slower wides.. mainly because I have the 28mm f2 so I have not picked up any of the slower cousins yet.

Pentaxpete. Late welcome to the OM world. Like you picture posts also. Great to see film still being used.
