Anybody owning a Pentax 67 or earlier 6x7 with TTL prism and back cover seals in need of replacement, an enterprising fellow in Japan has a set of these (2 per pack) available direct from him for US $12.00. The seals are self-adhesive. Your only chore is to remove the old foam seal — fun and games!

When the TTL prism foam seal requires replacement, the prism will be a drop-down fit, which is a sign of worn seals; it should be a press fit to seal the prism against the focusing screen dash.

The position and shape of the original seals in my Pentax bodies (6x7 and 67) is different from the set that is offered?

I'd like to buy one of these kits, but the only payment method seems to be Paypal, and I don't use Paypal. Any suggestions?

First suggestion is to make contact with Rikuro-san to see if you can make a payment by alternative means.

The TTL prism seal will align correctly. In the old Asahi Pentax/Honeywell 6x7 bodies, the foam is on the focusing screen dash rather than the TTL prism; in re-engineering the 6x7 to the newer 67, the foam seal was moved to the base of the TTL prism. But it can actually be put in either position.

As I understand, the 6x7 models are (in chronological order): 6x7 w/o MLU, 6x7 w/ MLU, 67, 67II

His site references "67", but the photo shows a "6x7". Is it correct that these will fit all but the 67II?

It is stated on his site that the seal kit will not fit the 67II. It is for 6x7, 67 only. Seals for the 67II have to be sourced from Pentax.
