Some time ago I saw someone asking what to do when a Paterson Orbital Processor motor started 'slipping' its gears. There was a reply which described how to dismantle the motor and 'tweak' the gears but with no details of the 'tweak'.

I now have the same problem but as the comments were buried in a thread (not the title) I'm having trouble locating it.

I've managed to open the motor unit but not the gearbox - reluctant to proceed further without some guidance.

Do I need to open the gearbox or can the motor to gearbox fitting be adjusted somehow to engage the gears more robustly?

As ever any help much appreciated.

I know this is old, but if you see this response, can you tell me how you opened the motor unit? Its not obvious, and I don't want to break anything, but I would like to get inside it to lube it.
