It has been now a year (actually still 1 week short)since I made my first paRodinal developer. I have intentionally stopped using it when the volume of this first batch was reduced to 50%. It's been stored in a plastic PE bottle, a recycled one which originally contained household detergent. And it's been stored in an environment where temperatures average at about 28 deg C (82F). This afternoon, I used it to develop a couple of 120 Kodak Tmax rolls. The negatives came out fine.
The digital truth website (http://www.digitaltruth.com/techdata/parodinal.php) said that the developer is only good for 90 days. My developer, half-full, is practically a year old and still works like when it was new.
I still have some 'real' Leverkusen Rodinal, also stored in similar situations. Its colour is a bright russet red-orange. My paRodinal is earth-brown in colour. This should say something about the longevity of paRodinal, another trait it shares with the real one.
