If the stain is only on the white border of the paper and not within the image it can be removed by bleaching, either with potasium ferricyanide or iodine. If you use ferricyanide be careful for it can produce a stain that cannot be removed. The iodine bleach needs to be mixed from two chemicals, I cannot recall the proportions etc for my darkroom is packed away in readiness for a move next week. I'm sure that someone in the group will have the formula. Iodine will not stain permanently which is why I would suggest you use it.
I have found that many modern papers stain very easily.
