over 15 years since last I processed 4x5!

Been over 15years! Yeah! Finally got to do some.
Well, just a test, 6 sheets. A little scratching on the top right (near notches). Did them in trays in a closet that in 15 minutes, I was able to see the trays. He he, not that dark in there. No fogging though.
I then realized, I have way to wash them. So I just rubber band each one and put in in a big h20 container and fill up, sit, dump, fill up again.
Now I just realized, I have no way to hang them
Now I just realized, I have no film sleeves for 4x5

Tray processing isn't that bad but not great if I have to do it in a closet.
Note to self: Get a daylight processing tank

Every move up in size seems to bring on these kinds of revelations. I still need an 11x14" lightbox one of these days to view my 11x14" transparencies and negs.

I think the best was Daniel Levin who led the albumen workshop I attended, describing the first time he tried 20x24" albumen printing, when he was standing in front of the drying line with an oversized 24x30" sheet of paper dripping with egg white, not quite sure how to maneuver it onto the line without the paper folding onto itself.

Note to self: Need a timer I can see in the dark. A Homer Simpson moment. Doh!
Used the glow hands in my wrist watch. My processing time was somewhere between 10 minutes and 12 minutes.
