Hello All,

Never had cause to use this forum before now! Wanted to take the time to announce our upcoming show @ The Gallery at CCBC Catonsville, in Baltimore Maryland.

Five of us, David Prifti, Melitte Buchman, Steve Wilson, Kym Kulp and myself have been gathering at each other's houses for the past eight years, (since we took our original wet plate class from France Scully Osterman), to pool resources, shoot wet plate, eat and drink, cavort, argue about art, and otherwise become an extended family. This is our first show together. I couldn't be prouder to be showing with this group of people. They truly are extraordinary folks and I am lucky to be included.

The work is Wet Plate Collodion positives, with some prints thrown in that were derived from Wet Plate Collodion originals. The original work ranges in format from full plate up to 20 x 24 plates.

Here is the link to the Gallery;

We would love to see you at the opening on November 4th.

Best,

Monty McCutchen

Hey All,

thought I would bump the show. It opens up today. I will be attending the Opening on November 4th if anyone can make it by.

Here is a short video of our groups annual gathering that a good friend did for us. Also we got a website up and running for the group which is nice. If you have a chance take a look. Of course feedback is always welcome. The site is fairly simple but its nice to have it working.

thanks,

Monty

I'll get back up there this weekend and take a look. I was just there last week. One of my daughter's potential college choices is UMBC.

Directions: The show is at the Community College of Baltimore County Gallery, 800 Rolling Road, Catonsville, MD. It's on campus in Building Q. The Catonsville exit is the 1st one South of the Baltimore Beltway on I-95. (It's the same exit as you would take to go to BWI airport, but in the opposite direction.) Rolling Road is MD 166. Take 166 West from I-95, go past UMBC and the entrance to the CCBC campus will be on your left. There's a big CCBC sign at the entrance. When you come to the first intersection after entering the campus, turn right. Building Q will be on your right a few hundred yards down the road. Parking is across the road from Building Q.

Hope this helps. I found the place a little difficult to find.

Monty,

Sorry I can't make it. Work has been absolute nuts from the latest storm that hit the region... no way in Hades will they let me take a day off!

That is a fantastic plate you just posted.

So, you finally found an 8D, eh? Did you have to commit unnatural acts to procure it?

I heard that the procurement was easy compared to getting it across the border undetected. Hence the reason he named it what he did!
