The documentary on Nobuyoshi Araki, Dead Link Removed is part of the San Jose International Film Festival.

It will be showing TONIGHT (Saturday) and TUESDAY NIGHT ONLY at the Camera 3 Cinema in San Jose. I'm going Tuesday.

I liked it -- some aspects of Araki missing, and suprisingly zero mention about the fact that there was a feature biographical drama film made about he and his late wife. I think they had limited time with him and got a lot more material than they could pack into the time they had, so it's still a win

I made a couple of notes: http://www.botzilla.com/blog/archives/000296.html

Arakimetari is a NEW release.

The other DVD, "Tokyo Biyori" about Yoko, is a Japanese release, already on DVD over there.
