Due to the demise of Agfa as a supplier here in australia i have had to consider different developers for my film stock. Normally I process my film in Refinal but that supply has dissappeared over night.
I decided to go with those thet would hopefully remain available so chose Ilford LC29. The film is Efke P100 4x5.
The zone one speed was correct at 80 iso with a density of .1 above fog. I initially used a development time of 7 minutes at 22c.
I used a dilution of 1:35 for this test.
My first zone 8 at the 80iso gave me a density of 1.63 so I decided to up the dilution to 1:50 and keep the time at 7 minutes. This sheet was 1.20 and that was my target density for my condensor [D2 Omega]
I shot a test scene to check in real life and the result is very smooth tonality.
Jobo rotary processor
Efke 100 5x4
1 minute prewash
Ilford LC29 1:50 22c 7 minutes
1 minute water stop
Fix and wash
