This looks like a pretty interesting Alt process exhibit.

Photography As Process: Connecting the Past to Now" - This show will focus on three noted contemporary artists working in a vast range of hands on techniques that date back to the dawn of photography in the early 19th century, Daniel Kazimierski, Grace Knowlton and Eileen Brady Nelson. These are counter pointed with the rare vintage collection of Walter LeCroy and his own present work exploring the lastest techniques in digital photography.

Just wanted to bump this for the New York tri-state people
The opening is tomorrow, 1:00 to 6:00. Be sure to throw a little energy and enthusiasm behind this unique project. The brochure shows a 1922
Ed Weston carbon print that I would like to see. If you visit during October, be sure to stroll down the block to the Tappan Library to see nine or ten of my prints hanging.

I went to the opening yesterday. Lots of different processes. Pt/Pd, Gum, Salt, Bromoil, Carbon, Cyanotype etc. Both contemporary and historical examples. There is a Fox Talbot Salt photogram and a Edward Weston Carbon portrait. It is a good opportunty see the unique and subtle qualities of these processes in the original prints instead of reproductions in magazines or on the internet.

I noticed that during the day on Saturday, October 1st, Each of the photographers will speak individually about their work and processes. That should be interesting if anyone is interested in a particular process.
