Which one of the three is the "new" portfolio? Also should there be a NSFW warning on any of them?

Well, I’m definitely no art snob, but I really enjoyed your architectural photography. I don’t usually like architectural photography because to me it seems like taking a picture of a Monet in a museum (photographing someone else’s art) but I liked looking at yours.

I had to have a little chuckle above. What might be Not Safe For Work in the US, UK and Australia might be totally acceptable in Germany!

As for the Galleries, I think the work holds together well. Me, personally, I'd prefer the thumbnails to be a bit more uniform in size or better fitting a regular pattern. The page scales well to a mobile device, so that works.

Nice portfolio, although I recognize a lot of photos from Way Beyond Monochrome (2nd edition). Do you have any newer work, film or digital, worth showing?

I think that the picture of the woman showing just her bare shoulders is modest enough but also gives enough of a hint of what's behind that link if you don't know that Akt means nude. I suspect that Ralph knows very well what NSFW means but he's just being rebellious. Can't blame him after the experience with his prints in his former house that he was trying to sell. It must be nice to be back in a part of the world where nudity is not unsafe. :D

Sure I do but, I usually wait until a certain amount has come together before posting; my website has all the new work wwwrlambrec.com

    very elegant.

I like the bold crop of hay bale - just gives an edge to composition

I agree. If someone looked during a break at work, they could be in real trouble. That aside, very good work.

Ralph, impressive work! Loved all of it. Nature album is my favourite- very dynamic with a lot of drama in contrasts.

I think I've seen some of these photos in your book, but with a little different crop and printing. Interesting to see how your interpretation evolves over time. Loved your book by the way.

Stonehenge one - the moon and the lightening are photoshopped aren't try? Or was it combined printing? Unless you were two miles away with 10000mm lens to get angular size of the moon to be comparable to the size of the stones.

Yes, Stone henge is a hybrid effort of darkroom magic and Photoshop. I use all the tools I can get my hands on to get the look I want.

Art is art - all the tools are a fair game if they help you achieve what you want.
