need help with the flash of my camera

I got myself a zenit-e (canadian edition "diramic r-1") who came with a diramic x33 flash,do someone knows how to make it work?

It is possible that your camera does not have a hot shoe, (no electrical contacts).

The shoe on your camera may allow you to mount your flash, (cold shoes are often called "accessory shoes"),
but there aren't any electrical contacts to fire the flash; hence the name "cold shoe".

To trigger the flash, you will probably need to use a sync cord; each end compatible with flash unit on one end,
and camera/lens socket on the other end.
