hi all. Ive been a member here for a good while and I thought I would try and tap into the resources of APUG and any photographers who would like some work published.
Im looking for scenics, landscapes, and the like of Hawaii. The islands of Oahu, Kauai, and the Big Island. I know there are a handful of photographers here that live in the isles and would love any help or contact info.
Im the Art Director for a recently started magazine. We are in the 3rd issue and the travel section is on Hawaii this coming issue. I have a handful of images from some stock agencies but would MUCH RATHER publish the work of some APUG photographer or the like who would like their work published. We have about a 50k circulation.
I cant promise much money (and possible none at all) given the tight budget (I barely manage on my pay) but I can promise quality printing of your work (Im a bit anal when I get my proofs) and mentioning/crediting to you as the photographer.
I just wanted to throw this out there and see if there were any bites. I used to live in Hawaii and know its full of beauty and know many of you have great shots of it. If no one is interested then Ill just use the stock stuff I have.
oh also, black and white or color, it doesnt matter.
