Hi, all! With the possibility of Ilford's film line demise and the resulting loss of Delta 100, I would truly like to see scanned samples of one or more Fuji Acros film prints shot at EI 100. Can anybody post one or more here within APUG or does anybody know where else on the Web some are located? Thanks!

Have a look at the 'spanish olive' image in my gallery. Acros @64 in Dixactol. I would imagine that Pyrocat HD would be the same, namely incredible acutance for such a smoothie film, with invisible grain (contradiction in terms I know). Undoubtedly a modern tabular film, but IMHO much more attractive then TMAX100. It is in a completely different league to Tmax of delta in terms of grain, there aint none (which causes problems in regular devs if printed to small size as image lack edge.)

Oops, spanish derelict and llyn cwmorthin are also Acros in same dev

I clicked on Spanish Derelict and all I got was a white screen with a small box containing a red "x" in it.

I have heard that Ilford is Fuji's source. I have been wondering if the actual manufacturer is Hungarian Forte?

I dont know why you cant get the image? I sometimes get a red X, but if i try later, I can usually get the image.

I would doubt that this film is Ilford made. It bears no resemblance to anything else on the market.

Tom, I was able to get all but the 'derelict' scan post to show, no matter how many times I tried. Thanks, though...I will give Acros a trial run.

Doesn't Ilford make the Acros film (and others) for Fuji?

If Ilford is making film for Fuji (which I doubt very much) then the Fuji ACROS and Neopan 400 are extremely different films from their Ilford counterparts (Delta 100 and HP5+). Nothing alike, not even the film base.

Hey Terry!
Here is one I did. Acros developed in Rodinal 1:50. Really gentle agitation.... first 30 seconds, then once per minute for the remaining time. I love the film, but it can be a PITA to get onto the reels. haha
