I've changed the battery etc and have tried to adjust it using the little wheel in the battery compartment but no go.

Have any of you had this happen to you before? It sucks because it's been such a good little performer.

The cost to repair is about the same as buying a new "used" one.

I'm not familiar with the meter, but if the adjustment range is 2 stops, then maybe the little adjuster is kaput and it is over at the edge. Can you just change the ASA and use it anyway? As long as it's consistant, your good to go. Put a big reminder sticker on it so you don't forget the 2 stops.

All meters go out of calibratoin, and worse, go non-linear.
