Hi, can anyone fill me in with some info on Macophot64C? A friend of mine got a roll of it, and frankly, niehter one of us knows anything about it. I would greatly appreciate if someone could help me out - characteristics, tips, development methods - anything and everything would be very appreciated! Thanks,

Peter.

Macophot 64C is approx. the same emulsion as the Efke 50 film.
Development can be done according those specifications.

Best regards,

Robert

Thank you very much - I assume its not available in North America, so little is known here... Thanks again.

Does anyone have any specific experiences, preferences?

All Efke films are single layer emulsions. Further the emulsion is rather soft, so sensitive for scratches. It's technology of the 50's (ADOX film).

Best developers for these kind of film are:

Neofin Blau (Tetenal) or the almost simmular recept: AM50 (Amaloco), a further development of the AM20 from 1936 is one of the best combinations.
Rodinal (Agfa) is also a good choice.

Best regards,

Robert
