Does anyone use LPD developer and what paper do you use with it?

Mostly Agfa MCC and Forte Polygrade. I buy the powdered mix - 1/2 the strength of the liquid but so much cheaper and lighter to carry. I know a number of really good printers that use it exclusively. They used it with Polymax and Oriental papers as well.

Good Morning, Curt,

I use LPD (liquid version) as my standard print developer, normally with Ilford papers.

I haven't used it yet, but a quick look at B&H tells me that this will be the cheapest warm-tone developer when Neutol WA is gone. I've only heard good things about it, so I think this will be my standard.

I use it with warmtone papers like Ilford, Forte, Bergger and Oriental. It's been around a long time. I used to use it with Agfa Portriga Rapid. It also works fine with neutral tone papers.

Thanks all, It looks like a really good choice when I'm not using Amidol and Azo. A person has to have some options. I don't have anything against Dektol and Selectol Soft but it's a matter of time before Kodakery takes place and I have to buy the generics anyway. The composition of LPD is easier on the body also.

The spell checker didn't like "Kodakery", well... who does?
