Looking for gum di-chromate workshop

I would like to find a workshop for tri-color gum di-chromate and other resources.
Any suggestions?

Kerik Kouklas does a gum bi-chromate over platinum process that get's beautiful results. Very rich tones. He gives workshops, including out of his home in Placerville, CA. I took a two-day workshop from him, and it was excellent. He shows examples from a variety of photographers, compares several papers, has a good darkroom setup, and when given out of his home, has small class sizes.

I live nearby your location in Portland, and one can drive the distance to in a long day.

You might try contacting Christina Anderson at Montana State (? At least that is where I think she teaches). Chris has some work on the unblinkingeye.com website (also check out Sam Wang's tricolors there) and she also has published a couple handbooks on alternative processes.

She is an excellent tricolor gum printer (also mordancage, etc.) and if she doesn't do workshops, she probably should. She may be able to recommend someone as well. Her email address is on the mordancage article page at the aforementioned website.

Christina Anderson is an outstanding three-color gum printer, and as Joe noted, if she is not doing workshops she probably should. She currently lives in Montana.

Sam Wang, who Chris studied with at Clemson University, does some of the finest three-color gum (actualy magenta and yellow gum over cyanotype) I have ever seen. If you live in the eastern part of the US you might want to contact him about a workshop. He has not taught many workshops in the past, but he recently retired from the university and may have more time on his hands now.

With both Chris and Sam you will get not just technical information, but a philosophy and aesthetics about the gum bichroimate process. I highly recommend both of them.
