Welcome to APUG

It looks like you used infrared film and the exposure is correct. My only comment is that you will need to crop the print to line up with the verticals.

It looks like you used infrared film and the exposure is correct. My only comment is that you will need to crop the print to line up with the verticals.


The film is actually Illford FP4 120 the trees in back are actually white due to it being spring. What exactly do you mean "Crop the print to line up with the verticals"?

nice image !

i think what he means is the lion looks tilted.
he straightened the print / cropped it so the trees were vertical
( i would have made the lion vertical instead ) ..

how do you like your K1000?
i still use mine from time to time
i got it new in 1981 :smile:

Ah, I didn't see the attached file, Thanks! I love the K1000 great solid feeling camera and the glass (for the price) is absolutely amazing!

Please see the attached cropped photograph. The lion is standing straight up and the trees are not lean any longer.

With practice you will learn to check the verticals in the viewfinder before you take the photograph.
