Hi all,

Here's how we shoot one camera. I don't know if this has been done here or not, I saw this on another site awhile back and was thinking about this the other day. Since I am a member here thought maybe some of us would be up for this. I bought a B&W disposable camera and would like to shoot one frame and send it on to whomever wants it next. The last person on the list would have it processed and post the shots here. No specific subject, doesn't matter where you live (because you will have to forward it to the next person on the list) just one shot by each person. So are there twenty six of you out there that wanna join me for this???

I think Nige proposed this way way back, but it never came about. I still think it's a neat idea.

When we get enough people I will send everyone an email so that we can get addresses and such. Also, just pm'ed Sean because I didn't reall think about what forum we may want them posted in or how we can go about posting all of the shots here.

Hi all,

Right now we have a total of twenty people lined up and there are seven more exposures left. Am waiting to hear from Sean on what forum we can possibly post these in. If you all lhave any ideas on this, please feel free to speak up. Also, the only other problem we may have is the cost of shipping this to the various countries. My thought is perhaps after we know were the camera is going then perhaps we should shoot in U.S. first then send it to the next country, so on unless you have a better idea. Lastly, I think that each of should have the camera for one week to take you shot then send it on.

What I've done with the Traveling Portfolio is to make a list so the portfolio moves in the most efficient way possible (geographically at least!), accounting for issues like willingness to pay for international postage. On a little disposable camera, that's not as much of an issue, so you can just go by geography and postal rates.

Just have everyone pm you their address, make up the list, and Sean can probably set up a password protected page for the address list for the group, like we have for the Traveling Portfolio and the Postcard Exchange, and it's also a good idea to include a copy of the list with the camera, in case someone gets it and temporarily doesn't have computer access for some reason (this has happened with the portfolio!).
