I managed a visit last February and found a very friendly group of members who made a visitor very welcome. It's Earls Barton, about 6 miles east of Northampton just off the A45. Easy and safe parking in the village, close to the meeting place.

Tea/coffee and biscuits at half time. No alcohol of course- well you're driving and anyway John Wesley would get you for such irresponsibility. It was or still is a Methodist Hall.

Just a quick irreverant note - there is a grand little chippie virtually next door though.

Apart from that you won't meet a better bunch of committed Monachromatasists (is that right gromattickly?)

I have been to a talk by Leigh, he is an amusing and engaging speaker as well as a first class photographer. I miss his articles in MONO magazine since it ceased publication a year ago.
