Not Japanese but working here. Been taking and developing on and off for 4 years. Recent garduate, no idea what to do next. Contemplating photography as career move but having serious doubts. Only really managed to pursue as a serious hobby for the since last year. Just had my first exhibition in Nagasaki, standard b&w street stuff. Still dissatisfied but aren't we all...

Next project is on a local organic farmer. A somewhat struggling but incredibly admirable young man. It's people like him who drive progress. Any others working along the same sort of lines?

Oh the humanity!

Nagasaki prefecture. Been here about a year and a half. Limited conversational, can read and write too...should really be better but aren't all Englishmen supposedly linguistic cripples?? Or just me then...

Doing what nearly every other foreigner does here - i.e teach English. After that no idea. Maybe a photo course at London College of Communications.

Subarashi! Oseto-san.

I have been to Tokyo many times for my work. I love it! Enjoy the Cherry Blossoms now.

Welcome to APUG from Glenn in Sydney, Australia.

Enjoy your time here!

Kenban-wa! Midnight here now. Or maybe it is Konichi-wa? Wakari-masen..

I have studied the arts of Japan, have had my sensei visit me in Crete three times, have met the parents of a Japanese friend that had invited me to Japan yet I have not had the chance to visit the country. Sigh.
I've been in the neighberhood (China, Korea) but not in the Land of the Rising Sun.
Some day though...

Welcome to APUG Oseto!

I thought this was going to be a thread on Philip Glass music.

Welcome anyhow.

I believe that was Koyaanisqatsi.
Excellent music and a hypnotising film.
