I would like to fondle one to see if I like it more than the Canham woodfield 4x5. If anybody has an Ebony SV45i in the San Diego / Orange County area and wouldn't mind some strange fingerprints on their camera I would love to see one before I decide on a purchase. I don't want to borrow it, just open it up and see what it feels like. I'd of course come to you.
Currently I'm using a Shen-Hao but wouldn't mind a couple (of hundred) more millimeters of bellows. The ebony being 2 pounds lighter is a selling point since it will be used for backpacking.
