Am I reading it right? They are considering selling their analog interests? Who would have thought Ilford would go digital?

You've obviously not seen the previous threads on the same subject. It's not a case of Ilford going digital the two plants while owned by the same shareholders/holding company are actually two different companies in different countries.

The Swiss company is profitable, unfotunately Mobberley hasn't been.

There is huge decline in conventional analog imaging in the professional sector particularly here in the UK. The market is client driven and most clients now prefer digital.

However there is still a demand in the art based market for Black & White materials, and this is actually growing but is proportional a very much smaller market.
