Neat collectors item. I love the 'great condition' statement. In their defense, the paper was likely badly fogged from age anyway.

My guess would be that they had already been exposed as it's unlikley anyone wold be dumb enough to break the seal on a sealed box, immediately reducing their value to a collector... Or would they?...

Bob,
You would be surprised how dumb some people are.
Several years ago when I had a store, a young woman photography student came in to rent a 4x5 camera. WHen asked if she knew how to load film she answered affirmatively, but also asked for a demonstration. I did this and reminded her to do so in the dark.
When she returned the camera she was furious because all of her film was totally black. When asked several questions about handling the film, and finally if she did it in the dark, her answer was,"I did get under a tree."

Now that's dumb.
Sorry, I just had to tell this story. I have others concerning photographic stupidity.
