Ilfochrome color 6" filter set - useful?

Hello:

I bought a box of filters, rings, etc. and got a 6" Ilfochrome color filter set, 3 colors in 0.05-0.5 (density?) and UV.

I don't ever see myself using them for their intended purpose. Should I cut them into 3" squares to use in front of a camera in place of CC filters (assuming there is an equivalence), or try to find someone who needs it?
