A recent bog post 2nd May 2016
http://women-and-dreams.blogspot.co.uk/
references a Kodak colour negative film, shot by the poster and coded as 6029 As the blogger reports there is no trace that he or I can find on the web of a Kodak film of that code.
it is obviously expired and time has not been kind so it is purely a puzzle to ID the film, over to you.

The code may be a Kodak Ltd one rather than Eastman Kodak, you'd need to find Kodak Ltd Data guides or catalogues to check for the number.

Ian

Thank you Ian, I was hoping someone with copies would chime in
None of the .pdf documents on line list it Eastman or Kodak.
If you follow the link there are some very strange colours that , to me, don't look typical of OOD film but it could be the scanner interpretation of course.

I can't find any reference to '6029' but there is a guide for Kodak edgeprint numbers online ( ... I'm sure it's been posted on this forum before ).

Yes that is the usual source, but it is interesting that there are gaps and how they jump. So 6028 is Vericolor 400 Pro then 6029 is "missing" ( as is 30) but 6031 is EKTACHROME 64 (Daylight) different "family" which makes guessing at 6029 a shot in the dark, forgive the pun.

Could it be something like the generic "Kodacolor" consumer films, which sometimes used to be returned, as "free films", with D&P, or sold as the £1 films in Poundland shops. (At a quick glance, I can't spot these on the number list?)

Yes indeed I had not thought about "own label" stock, strange though there are no lists, the internet does love a list. I see 34 is popular at the moment: "34 reasons to use a film camera" ?

I know this is an old thread, but I recently just discovered the answer. "Kodak Safety Film 6029" is Kodak Vericolor II Commercial - Type S. The stuff I just shot (in 120 format) expired in 1986, so I rated it at ISO 12.

What a nice surprise on return from a holiday, many thanks for the conclusion.
