yes he's winning that and he's got 3 winning bids on this auction too!

I went through a phase when I first registered on feebay, buying collectable cameras, but I always fancied this one to sit on a table. Bit excesssive I know but sure it's worth a bid to make that japanese guy pay more. Some people haven't learnt to bid on ebay correctly at all!

I agree that though this Rollei Wide shows some wear and tear BUT there is no such animal as a bang aound Rollei Wide or Tele model--The Wide is a very desireable beast along with (but more desireable!) the Tele (I have 4 Tele's myself but no RolleiWide). I would still expect it to border $2K and if someone here does buy it by chance though unlikely I DO have a correct focus hood for a RolleiWide--a rarity in itself but was installed by mistake on a Tele model I bought ! It's a bit cheaper to replace the rare Tele hood than the much rarer RolleiWide focus hood! Heck!! Considering it's on ebay it might hit $3k and thats way over the top for such a cosmetically worn example!

So... out of curiousity... how much did you bid? It looks like the Japanese bidder REALLY wanted that camera!
