Hi all,

This is my first post here on APUG. There are some very knowledgable people around here, so I thought I might stick around and read some of your thoughts. I'll contribute where I think I might be able to help.

I'm not sure if I'll fit in, since I have foot in both camps (analog and digital). I capture on film and print digitally, but don't hold that against me please. There are a few of us doing that these days .....

I love shooting with 5x4 film, and it's my preferred format. I also have a nikon for subjects that won't stand still long enough to focus my LF camera on.

You'll also find me on the f32.net forum and QTL's forum. My web site is www.scenebyhird.com if you're interested.

Cheers,
Graeme

hi graeme! i enjoyed looking at your site...i especially like your b&w stuff; the 'graph that made 'picture of the week' is remarkable not only because it's striking in its own right, but because it is exceedingly well renedered on the web.

i've not been here that long myself, but welcome anyway!! you'll fit in like a key in a door.

Hi Graeme (from Melbourne!). I recognised your name.. probably from the LF forum! I won't hold your working procedures as long as you don't hold mine (wet printing) against me! Welcome!

Nige.

Hey this is great! Thanks for all the welcoming thoughts.

I feel like I've walked into a pub that I've walked past for years, not thinking I'd be welcome in the tight-knit local community inside. When I open the door, I see a bunch of old friends and welcoming smiles from people I don't know (but who apparently know and respect me). Of course, there's only one thing to do in this situation - "Bartender - the drinks are on me!!!"

Thanks,
Graeme

Welcome Graeme, and rest assured you'll find here some of the tightest nits that you've *ever* met!
