I don't know why I haven't registered before but here I am at last
My name's Ceri - I'm a bloke (it's a Welsh thing) - and got back into photography a few years ago after being diagnosed with MS. Although I work as a software developer I've not thrown my lot in with the digivangelists.
I'm a collector of all things photgraphic (I have a website called Chrome Age Camera which I'm slowly working on to show all my collections), but love using cameras from the fifties and sixties, and try as much as possible to use authentic matrials and techniques.
Favourite cameras include a Prakticamat (very underrated), a pre-war Zeiss Ikoflex II(the behemoth), a Konica Eye (my notebook camera), a Yashica 44 (for superslides) and a Kodak Retinette (for my holiday snaps). At the moment I'm on the lookout for working examples of a Werra and a late model Exakta.
