The camera is listed as sold.
Looks like it was pulled. I wonder why. The seller is APUG subscriber Bobby Sandstrom. Perhaps he will see this thread and shed a little light. I do agree with Jim, that isn't a purchase I could sneak past my wife, either physically or financially. :D

Just a minor correction--the auction is listed as ended with no bids, not sold.

Hmm, do you think my wife would go for--"It was just an upgrade to my 8x10"?

Matt

p.s.
I like how eBay seems to think that an auction for "Plus Size Arizona Jeans Size 12 1/2 10.5 Like New!" is a "similar item".

Now the real question is, is that an insult against the pants or against the camera? :D

As for the camera, all I can do is drool.

That same camera lived at my house for a little over two years, until I got my 14x17 conversion back for my 12x20 canham, at it became redundant. Bobby bought it from me. It is one heck of a lot of camera. My biceps got as big as tree trunks during the period I was shooting the thing handheld...

Hey guys. The camera was sold to a fellow APUG'er. He saw it immediately and emailed me. I pulled it very shortly after I posted it. I sold because I was spreading myself too thin with too many formats and was driving myself nuts. I print silver only and the 14x17 was overkill. I made a pact to sell off most all of my cameras, keep the tachi 8x10 and put as much film thru that thing as I possibly can! I also listed my Wehman 8x10 which is in MINT cond so if anyone is interested it's up now. I think the price is very resonable. I should be listing my Hassy 501cm with 80, 150, 250 pretty soon. Clay, I got out of the camera what I put into it. I'm sure I could have gotten more but am truly happy that it will be used and loved by a fellow apug'er. It's all good!

Happy shootin everyone!
