Gossen Luna Pro Newbie question

I just received an old Luna pro without instructions. I know how to set the film speed but I would appreciate help with the readings, which of the 3 symbols do I use? There is a small circle with a small dot, a larger circle with larger dot and an arrow. What does the sliding white dome do? Please email me Rene_Goyena@comcast.net.

The sliding white dome is for making an incident light reading. That is measuring the light falling on the subject. Point the meter toward the camera, press the button and take your reading. With the white dome slid to one side you measure the light being reflected from the subject.

Can't help you with your other questions as I have a LunaSixF which is a different beast.

The triangle is the used for either incident or reflected readings. Match the numbers from the scale on top where the needle moves to the triangle. The circles are used only if you use the spot meter attachment (sold as an extra device), red being for the 15 degree setting, green is for the 7.5 degree setting. You will use those only if you are using the attachment though, without that, they are simply Christmas colors...
The two scales on top change sensitivities from low light to bright light based on which side of the double switch you push. If the needle does not register or pins on the side, you need to switch scales by pushing the rocker switch on the right side the other direction. The little red box on the scale is for your battery check. Slide the slider switch on the back to the right and the needle should move to that box. If it doesn't, replace the battery. Clean the contacts for the battery every time you change the battery though.
This meter adapts very well to the Zone System scale as well.

I thought I'd add one thing: The very outer ring has a filter adjustment on it. Move the black triangle thing to cover the red marking in order to set it to neutral (no adjustment for filter), and then obviously point it to other settings if you are using a filter.

To do a battery test (since it's second-hand), there's a sliding thingy on the back. When you slide that all the way to one side, the red needle on the front should fly to one side of the meter (left, I believe). It takes px13 and px625 battieries for replacement (although mercury are no longer available in the US, though your username indicates Phillippines).
