People from this contry seems to embrace the Dig"""l world with open arms.
But then they seems to reject the analouge world in the process...
Good for me!
I just had three interesting encounters with friendly people...
the first one came up here, and brought me an old 4x5 MPP wiew camera, with a nice Schneider lens, and three interesting small Zeiss Luminar lenses (for macro work) in shutter...
a gift, he said.
The second phoned me this afternoon.
he has two Durst Laborator's (138) with a lot of lenses to go with it - a Plaubel 4x5 wiew camera, and a Hasselblad with several lenses....
Not as a gift (as it comes from a museum, and museums can't by law give things away), but as a "loan" as long as I want....
The third is a commercial photographer going Digi""l.
I am not excately sure what he has, but he mentioned "some Sinar's and some Pentaxes among other stuff....
My only problem here is, that I am running out of space to place my enlargers... and the Hasselblad is too fragile for my students to use..
Still - I feel blessed.
