Didn't find the info in a search, so hope this isn't repetitious. I've finally acquired a vacuum frame, a 17x22 NuArc model. Unfortunately the glass has several scratches. I'd like to replace it, but would like to know what folks recommend. My concern is primarily for safety. Is tempered glass a good or bad thing? I will eventually be printing on Pt/Pd, so there may be some UV concerns, too.

Thanks for your advice.

When I moved back to Mexico I broke the glass for my NuArc, I just went and replaced it with 4mm thick glass. It does not have to be tempered. Just make sure you ask your glass vendor to grind the edges so you wont get cut.
