Hello to all, discovered this website on a yahoo search. I was initially wondering if there were like-minded photographers still paying tribute to the old-schooled ways of the non-digital world. I shoot primarily in 35mm and feel limited in scope. Although I have such a love of the visual arts... I am getting wonderful results. Hoping to set up a full-darkroom someday and shoot B-&W.
I shoot all pictures currently with my Pentax K-1000 (all manual) mode.
I enjoy this because it gives me full control of the outcome of the picture without digitally compromising it. I am in the prelininary stages of working on a coffee table book I hope to publish at some time in the future. I have attempted briefly to sell some of my images to local newspapers without success. I love nature and some of my work revolves around the themes of nature and time itself. I have taken some coursework at community college level. My father was the one who introduced me to the medium many years ago. Photography is my passion and a way of percieving and mainting perspective. Happy to be here with you all. currently residing in Midwest.
