Just joined (that is made a cash donation) yesterday and I would like to introduce myself. I developed my first roll of film in 1945 while in grade school. From that time on I was hooked. I did many things to make a living doing photography, weddings, products, portraits. Worked in camera stores, mass B&W commerical photofinishing, etc. Never could make a go of it full time but provided a second income on a part time basis. I work in the darkroom about 20+ hrs a week, since I retired 10 years ago. We trailered a lot until 2001 when I had the first of 3 major surgeries and had to give up trailering. During that time I shot a lot of TX and HP5 with my 2 EOS A2E and assorted lensed. so have many negatives to keep me busy. I hope to have a local gallery display of my work this fall. My prints will be llx14 MGIV, fibre, glossy except maybe some matte if I decide to hand color them. I will mat them and frame with sectional aluminum frames. I have a extensive collection of cameras from 4x5 down to baby brownie 127s. I use D76 and LPD or DEkTOL, Heico perma wash, Ilford Hypam rapid and Kodak selenium. If any one has questions I'll be around. I live in Joliet, Il, 30 miles SW of Chicago.
