I recently picked up two vintage 35mm cameras for $1.. yep... one buck! I got an Exakta VX500 with a 50mm Exaktar lens, and a Neoca Range Finder. The Exakta is in great shape, a little brassing on the body, but mechanically sound. It sounds like a freekin cannon going off when you use a slow shutter speed... can you say mirror slap?!@#? I have been able to find a little info on the Exakta online, but nothing on the Neoca. Anyone have any 411 for me?

Don't have any info, but I once found an extremely clean Canon AE-1 with an almost mint lens for $10 at a yard sale.

I think there's an Exacta users group on Yahoo!Groups. There's also a rangefinder group on Topica where some collector might know something about the Neoca.

There is an Exakta group on topica.com,
and a good site on www.ihagee.org, if you haven't found it yet.

I went to the church rummage sale and saw a camera bag that said 65.00.

I looked and immediately plunked 65 dollars down. It was a pristine Nikonis III with 2 lenses. It also had a new Minolta Maxum TTL flash.

I sold the flash to my local minolta dealer for 60 bucks.

Net cost - $5.00.

Robert don't forget, the canadian also get more snow than us! They hog everything.

You guys been reading about Boston?

I'm about thirty miles north-northeast, and we just got clobbered!!! Reports are that we have one (1) meter! (39.5" !!!) out of that last set of flurries.
Not as bad as the "Great Cape Ann Blizzard" in 1970 - we racked up 50" (!!!!) on that one - with drifts over the tops of the telephone poles in places.

All the rain that doesn't drop off in England falls on Norway a day later. I like to know that it's raining in England
